COMMON QUESTIONS

Clarity before commitment.

Understand the essentials before you select an implementation approach.

What is an electronic invoice in the UAE?

A UAE eInvoice is structured invoice data issued, exchanged and reported electronically under the national framework. A PDF, scanned document or an emailed invoice on its own is not an eInvoice.

Can you work with our existing ERP or accounting platform?

Yes. We begin with a technical assessment of your current SAP or non-SAP applications, invoice flows, data formats and integration options. The final integration approach depends on what your systems support.

Is Global Experts officially accredited as a UAE service provider?

The UAE Ministry of Finance currently lists Global Experts of Information Technology Consultants under its service providers undergoing final accreditation assessment. This is not the same as full accreditation. Please refer to the official Ministry register for the latest status. Official MoF status list ↗

Do B2C invoices fall within the UAE e-Invoicing rollout?

Under the current framework, business-to-consumer transactions are excluded from the mandatory electronic invoicing system until a further ministerial decision. Businesses with both B2B and B2C transactions should assess the scope of their invoice flows.

How should we prepare for the implementation deadlines?

Start by confirming which phase applies to your business, documenting current invoice generation and validating ERP integration and master data. See our UAE requirements guide for the phased dates and primary sources. Read the requirements ↗
